Collision Repair

The Collision Repair Process

We try to make the collision repair process as easy & straightforward as possible for our customers. The estimate is written, you would then authorize the repair, your insurance company would approve it, parts are ordered & received, repairs are scheduled and a completion date is determined.

Disassembly of Vehicle

Once parts have been ordered & repairs are scheduled, we will move onto the next phase. Beginning with the disassembly of your vehicle, we will then re-inspect your vehicle, provide a supplemental damage (if any) report, get the supplement approved by insurance, order additional parts if needed, & place your vehicle on Unibody repair equipment.

Structural & Body Repairs

After the disassembly & further inspection of your vehicle, we will move on to perform the repairs needed and return your vehicle to pre-loss condition. New panels are installed & fitted, corrosion protection is applied to repaired areas, metal work is inspected & tested, and your vehicle is prepped, primed & blocked for the final stages of your repair.

Delivery Date Confirmed

Finally, the team at Superior Craftsmen Collision Center will mask, tape & place your vehicle in our painting booth. Your vehicle is then cleaned and tacked, undergoes refinishing, & is reassembled including wheel alignment, air conditioning & detailing. We finish with a final inspection & test drive, & then call the customer to confirm your delivery date.
